I’m an Information Technology Teacher in Brisbane, Australia, with a background and experience in software development as a Technology Entrepreneur.
I believe my role as an educator is to not only assist students to become effective users of IT in the 21st century, but to also become confident creators of digital solutions for real world applications through the implementation of computational thinking, design thinking and systems thinking. I am passionate about STEM education and creating opportunities for interdisciplinary learning outcomes for students and graduates.
21st century learning is extended through communication across different fields. Through Information Technology this is imparted in different programming languages. The development of communication confidence, can also impart empathy, understanding and compassion – skills that serve our graduates and communities into the future.
